NAME
Mylene200 - multi client extension server for Mylene1f4
SYNOPSIS
Mylene200 [OPTIONS] PATH|PORT
Mylene1f4.PATH|Mylene1f4.PORT
DESCRIPTION
Mylene200 connects to a Mylene1f4 server and establishes itself a
server emulating a Mylene1f4 server. The requests received on the
created server are resent to the real Mylene1f4 server and the request
replies received from the real Mylene1f4 server are resent to the
corresponding request issuing clients.
Unlike Mylene1f4, Mylene200 allows for more clients and thus, by
filtering the Mylene1f4 communication via Mylene200 more clients
may connect to Mylene1f4. Conversely, once Mylene200 connects to
an actual Mylene1f4 server, no other client will be able to connect to
that server.
OPTIONS
- -I
- Establish an INET server on PORT.
- -U
- Establish an UNIX server on PATH.
- -i, --inet
- Connect to the INET Mylene1f4.PORT server.
- -q, --quiet
- Suppress error messages.
- -u, --unix
- Connect to the UNIX Mylene1f4.PATH server (default).
- --no-reuse-address
- Reuse no address when binding the local INET controlling server (default). It
is quite likely that the binding (establishing) of the INET controlling server
will fail for some evil entity imagines that the address is already in use,
even when it is obviously not.
- --reconnect-attempts CARDINAL
- Retry to connect to the Mylene1f4 server CARDINAL more many times
if unsuccessful. Default is 0.
- --reconnect-timeout CARDINAL
- Wait CARDINAL microseconds before retrying to connect to the
Mylene1f4 server after a failed attempt. Default is 1000000 (1 second).
- --reuse-address
- Reuse local address when binding the local INET controlling server. If used
all over the place this may reduce the failure rate of binding (establishing)
an INET controlling server.
- --server-mode MODE
- Set file permissions for established local TCP controlling server to integral
MODE. MODE should include at least owner read/write permissions
(00600). Default is 00600.
- --help
- Print a usage message and exit with a status code indicating success.
- --version
- Print version information on standard output then exit.
